Have a Penns Woods story you’d like to share?
Let us hear about it…

Had a chance to taste both of the 05 Chardonnay Reserve and 05 Ameritage Reserve in a blind line-up with a group of 12 tasters.
The ratings were very close between the Chassagne-Montrachet and the Penns Woods Chard. Cameron is simply one of the finest Chard producers in the US, very under the radar, more Burgundian than many Burgundies. The PW had excellent acidity and still ripe enough with very delicate oak. Really clean and very nice stuff that surprised the tasters. Certainly one of the better PA Chards I've had.
The Ameritage was very close to the 2 Bordeaux in the group ratings. By far the best PA Cab Blend I've ever had. The 04 Les Grands Chenes bested most of the 1st Growths at a very large blind horizontal hosted by the Grand Jury European (it's still a touch oaky to my palate). The 95 L-B was on its game and the Sequoia Grove had its best showing yet. Truly beautiful fruit in the PW and a wonderfully gentle hand with the oak.
I'm absolutely no expert but the winemaking seemed flawless with respect to extraction, acidity, and oak. Beautiful work.
Thanks,

We just had your wine with dinner - it was absolutely delicious!! We bought it in 2005 while on vacation, and we can see that we have to come back.
Thanks!!

Mr. Gino,
Thank you for making such a good wine. I have tasted good wines in Pennsylvania. However, after doing the Uncork York tour and Barrels on the Brandywine, I have tasted none better than yours.
Thanks again,
Ed Gordon
